About Riley Gilmore

Sand Springs native, , Riley Gilmore, has been active within the firearms industry for three decades as an inventor, consultant, and has developed more than 60 uniquely new products for the shooting industry and for his company, Gilmore Sports Concepts. He is directly involved in the development, manufacturing and distribution of all Gilmore products to insure they exceed stringent quality standards.

Riley has been active in competitive pistol shooting as a professional shooter for over 18 years and has competed and won State and National Competitions, and holds two NRA Bianchi Cup World Championship Titles.

All the Classroom Instructors and Range Officers at Tulsa Firearms are personally trained by Riley to insure the highest standard of handling firearms and instructional excellence. .

Tulsa Firearms Training Academy opened its' doors in 1976. Owner, Riley Gilmore's interest in firearms began at an early age, dating back to his Boy Scout days. He later began teaching firearms instruction as a volunteer for the YMCA in the late 70's. Riley believed there was a need within the region for a safe location where homeowners, sportsmen, security officers and policemen could have a place to shoot indoors and enjoy the benefits of target shooting. With the help and support of the Gilmore family, Tulsa Firearms opened its doors as the fourth indoor shooting range in the United States and has become the premier indoor shooting facility in this part of the country.
